グランピングリゾート ヨーカブシ

Yokabushi is Ishigaki Island's first glamping resort, set within the Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park dark-sky reserve in northern Okinawa; its name means morning star in the Okinawan dialect and was chosen by the author Banana Yoshimoto. The eight guest rooms are themed on modern Bali, with materials sourced from Bali itself, and come in three types: six standalone Condominium Villas, a 2LDK condominium and a Standard Double in the main building. The outdoor glamorous BBQ area, separated into private booths by Ryukyu limestone, serves Ishigaki beef, island vegetables and local shrimp, and as the sun sets, torches and lanterns light up for stargazing over BBQ. There is also a pool, a barrel sauna added in 2024, breakfast, and Wi-Fi and mini kitchens in most rooms. It is about 15 minutes by car north of New Ishigaki Airport, with check-in from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m.
