Ocean Resort Tateyama is a set of private villas in Tateyama, Chiba, about 70 minutes by car from Tokyo via the Aqua-Line, each let to one group a day. Five types stand on the site: the Pool House, BBQ House, K House, A House and T House, and each has its own character.
The Pool House has an unheated outdoor pool, a barrel sauna and an open-air jacuzzi that can be heated, plus a hammock. It sleeps on three double beds and two sofa beds. The kitchen holds a three-ring induction hob, a combination microwave oven, a toaster, cookware and tableware for the full party, and there are two western-style toilets. The gas BBQ grill is for outdoor use only.
The BBQ House is built to block sightlines from outside, so you can grill without an audience; it has an outdoor jacuzzi and a lawn. The K House also has an outdoor jacuzzi, and an ocean-view pool was added to the T House in April 2026.
The villas are used as filming locations too: the Pool House appeared in the final episode of TV Tokyo's "25 ji, Akasaka de" Season 2 in December 2025, and the BBQ House hosted a YouTube live broadcast in June 2026.
Cruiser charters are also offered, on a MARQUIS 500SY and a YAMAHA, from 1,000,000 yen before tax for four hours.
