A one-group-per-day rental house at Numa in Tateyama, Chiba, facing the clear water of Tateyama Bay. It opened in November 2022, measures about 164.5 square metres and takes one to nine guests. Okinoshima, a popular spot, is about seven minutes away by car.
There are five bedrooms, each assigned a theme colour that also sets the room type, and every one has two semi-double beds. In the garden are a large pool with views of the sea and the night sky, a wooden sauna that takes loyly and reaches 100C, and a jacuzzi installed right beside it. A BBQ space, a private dog run, a kids' area with play equipment, a tandem bicycle and a fire pit complete the grounds, and pets are welcome.
The house has a kitchen and washing machine, a large BBQ griddle, a fridge, a spin dryer and a jet heater in winter, along with bathrobes and OSAJI amenities. A BBQ plan with ingredients included can be added as an option. JR Tateyama Station is about ten minutes away by car and central Tokyo about an hour and a half. Rates run from 112,000 to 480,000 yen per house including tax, varying by season, day of the week and party size, with each additional guest costing 28,000 to 60,000 yen.
