Twelve resort villas on the rise above Imgya in Gusukube, Miyakojima, Okinawa. The view is unobstructed, and every villa has either a pool or an outdoor jacuzzi; some have both a private pool and a jacuzzi.
There are several kinds to choose from: two-storey villas, trailer units with a private pool on the terrace, a renovated pool building let as a whole house, and a hideaway type where three buildings are taken together. Some units have a barrel sauna. Kitchens come with cookware, and there is Wi-Fi.
Imgya Marine Garden, a natural inlet known as a snorkelling spot, is just nearby. For dinner you can arrange a private BBQ, or catering of shabu-shabu or sukiyaki.
Getting there means a drive from Miyako Airport. Rates start at 59,000 yen per night. The booking system cannot take parties of seven or more directly, so note the extra guests in the remarks field or call instead.
