The ground floor holds a living and dining room and a terrace area. Upstairs are the bedroom, the bathroom and a balcony area. What defines the house is the large windows and balcony that let you take the view in full.
There is one bedroom, with two Simmons double beds and a Tempur sofa bed. The single bathroom is upstairs. The kitchen has an IH hob and an oven-microwave.
For food you might stay room-only and go out to eat nearby, bring back a takeaway, or cook in the kitchen. Since seafood from the Genkai Sea is the ryokan's strength, leaning on that is another option. After time at Nishinohama, the shower on the ground-floor terrace comes in useful.
Access is from JR Karatsu Station. From central Fukuoka it is about an hour by car or by train.
