ocean view villa plage-M & ciel bleu sits above the Seto Inland Sea at Aioofutajima in Yamaguchi City. There are two houses, plage-M and Ciel Bleu, each let to a single group per day.
They sleep differently. plage-M takes six in its open space and two in a tatami room; Ciel Bleu has two bedrooms taking four each. Both have air conditioning, a kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom.
Minogahama beach lies in front, a short walk down. You can BBQ in the sea breeze, and plage-M has a space where a BBQ can carry on through rain. The nearby roadside station Aio sells BBQ sets, though with a kitchen on hand cooking your own is equally easy.
Being in the middle of Yamaguchi Prefecture, the villas make a workable base for Tsunoshima Ohashi, Motonosumi Shrine and Akiyoshidai.
One thing to know: searching the address in a car navigation system or on Google Maps will not put you in the right place. The exact address and directions are given when the keys are handed over. Parking is free for up to four cars.Doors open at 15:00 and close behind you at 10:00 the next day. plage-M's weekday Type A starts at 5,500 yen per person including tax, with a minimum charge of four people.
