Ocean-view glamping set on a rise in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, overlooking the Kanmon Strait and, after dark, the illuminated Kanmon Bridge. Nine dome tents ranging from 6 to 8 metres across include ocean domes with a hinoki-scented bath, a suite with a barrel sauna, a suite with a private pool and sauna, and a dog-friendly dome with its own private dog run, with only ten groups hosted each day. Dinner is a BBQ of seafood delivered straight from Karato Market and Yamaguchi-raised sirloin, served in an all-weather private dining space, followed by a make-your-own BBQ hot sandwich at breakfast. About 75 minutes by car from central Fukuoka.
