Private villas that opened in June 2023 on the shore at Nakijin Village in northern Okinawa, run by the Memolead Group.
There are two worlds here, chosen by what you want from the trip. One is the adults-only private villa, given over to quiet and to being in step with the surroundings. The other is the family cottage, active and open, where children and pets can run about with family or friends.
Each unit has a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a view bath and an open-air jacuzzi. Beyond the window is an ocean view toward Kourijima. The grounds hold a private beach, an infinity pool and a sauna, with an outdoor pool available seasonally. The restaurant SUNNY KITCHEN is attached.
From Naha Airport, take the Okinawa Expressway to its end at Kyoda IC, then Route 58 toward central Nago, and on via prefectural routes 84 and 72, about an hour and a half. By bus, the Yanbaru Express takes 160 minutes; get off at Resort Hotel Bellpaleso and walk about 20 minutes. A transfer from Naha Airport takes about 30 minutes each way and can be booked from a month ahead.
The surrounding area puts most of Okinawa's sights within an hour. Rates start at 80,000 yen per night.
