Scale varies considerably: from six to eighteen guests, and three to seven bedrooms. One sits on 5.26 hectares with views of both Mount Yotei and the Annupuri range; another is single-storey with Yotei visible from every room; another crosses contemporary Japanese design with Scandinavian taste; another has a private Japanese bath scented with cedar. On the heights above Lake Toya there is also Kogetsu-To, a four-bedroom private residence.
Fittings differ by property, but various units offer hot-spring baths, jacuzzis, wood stoves, BBQ grills, gas fireplaces and parking. Some have balconies where large groups can grill.
