A one-group-per-day rental on the shore of Nanao Bay at Sofuku in Anamizu Town, Hosu District, Ishikawa, looking out at the calm bay and Notojima.
The sauna is free to use. You refresh with the sea in view; it requires at least two people and swimwear. BBQ and the hot spring are free as well. Open fires are permitted on the grounds, so a stay closer to camping is possible, and day camping works in the seaside private garden.
Beds comprise one double and two singles, on Simmons mattresses. With a full kitchen and cookware, bringing ingredients and drinks is enough to cook for yourselves. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided, and dogs can stay.
Check-in and check-out are self-service on site. Barring anything urgent, you pass from arrival to departure without meeting anyone. Because the setting is genuinely rural, insects get indoors in some seasons, so bringing a countermeasure is worth considering.
Noto-Kashima Station on the Noto Railway is about 1.3 km away, roughly two minutes by car, and Anamizu IC on the Noto Satoyama Kaido about 25 minutes.You settle in at 14:00 and stay through to 10:00 the next day. Rates start at 55,000 yen per night.
