A one-group-per-day villa at Heda on the west Izu coast. A single-storey house of about 150 sqm sits between Suruga Bay and a V-shaped ravine, built off-grid to supply all of its own power and water. Stays can run up to 28 hours.

A one-group-per-day villa at Heda in Numazu, Shizuoka, on the west Izu coast, renewed in November 2025.
The house is a single storey of about 150 square metres, designed by SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE. It stands close to the sea yet within a ravine landscape, with Suruga Bay ahead and a V-shaped valley below. The site includes a private garden of more than 1,000 square metres, where a stream appears after rain. Large openings on the sea side frame a view that shifts by the hour, and the living room, the terrace water basin and a zen space run into one another.
Opening the bathroom windows turns the bath semi-open-air, so you can soak while listening to the waves and the birds. There is a sauna as well. The off-grid construction, developed in-house, supplies all of its own electricity and water, so the stay does not draw on existing infrastructure.
Stays run up to 28 hours. Dinner is a dish from an affiliated property named Selected in the Michelin Guide Hotel Selection 2025, and transfer to LOQUAT Nishiizu is included. The room has Wi-Fi, and parking is available.You may enter from 15:00 and must leave by 11:00.
