A one-group-per-day rental house on the Tsukahara plateau in Yufuin. The timber building is octagonal, close to a cylinder, with a private tatami room at its centre. There is no hot spring or sauna; the view of Mount Yufu and the quiet are the point.

A one-group-per-day rental house that opened in April 2022 on the Tsukahara plateau in Yufuin, Yufu City, Oita, ringed by views of Mount Yufu.
The building is timber and octagonal, close to a cylinder, and its defining feature is a private tatami room at the centre. There are two bedrooms: the Western room has two single beds and five futons, the tatami room three futons. The dining area has a table and two sofas that convert to sofa beds. The full kitchen faces the dining area and comes with a complete set of cookware, a fridge, a washing machine and a clothes dryer. There are two toilets, one indoors and one outside, and two wash areas, one in the bathroom and one beside the indoor toilet. There is a single bathroom. There is no hot spring and no sauna.
Dinner can be catered with advance booking, dishes such as duck hotpot at 3,500 to 4,000 yen per person. A full BBQ set rents for 3,000 yen. Transfers take up to four people return: 3,000 yen from Yufuin Station, 4,000 yen from Beppu Station.
Yufudake Smart IC is about five minutes away, Yufuin Station about 20, Beppu Station about 37, Oita Airport about 46, and Fukuoka Airport about one hour 38 minutes. Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 10:00. Rates run from 60,000 to 80,000 yen depending on the season. Pets are not accepted, and bookings are taken by phone or email.
