Deluxs Outdoor Resort Kyotango Kumihama LABO is an experience-driven resort in the countryside of Kumihama, Kyotango, Kyoto, where two giant clashing T-REX figures greet you at the entrance and playful surprises are staged throughout the grounds. Accommodation is five 29-sqm dome tents (four sleeping 4, one sleeping 6, each with single beds, fridge and microwave, a private shower room and shared toilets) plus the Container Suite private villa: 132 sqm for up to 5 guests with its own sauna, pool doubling as a cold plunge, and an outdoor jacuzzi. Dinner centers on BBQ made with fresh local ingredients; pets are allowed (for a fee) only in Dome Tent C, and open flames may not be brought in. The resort is about 2 hours 20 minutes by car from Kyoto Station, 2.5 hours from Osaka, or 15 minutes by taxi from Kumihama Station, with 15 free parking spaces.
