GLAMP DOME Fuji Oshino sits on the banks of a clear stream in Oshino Village at the northern foot of Mt. Fuji, an area famous for its spring water and the Oshino Hakkai ponds. All eight units (five Aqua Domes, canopy-draped Lapis Tents and the one-a-day Villa Foresta with a 21 sqm private pool and full kitchen) come with their own natural onsen bath, an all-weather private dining space, a fire pit and Wi-Fi. Dinner is a BBQ built around Yamanashi ingredients such as Koshu beef sirloin, with an all-inclusive service of free drinks including local wines; a self-catering plan is also available. Riverside tent saunas, fishing on the Katsura River and other activities round out the stay. Access is about 90 minutes by car from Tokyo, roughly 4 minutes from the Fujiyoshida-Oshino Smart IC; check the official site for rates and availability.
