AICAFE FARM is an agriturismo-style glamping site on a highland farm at 1,000 m in Hokuto, Yamanashi, with views of Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps and Mt. Fuji. Its four units (a dome tent, an Airstream trailer, an 'instant house' and a dog-terrace room) all welcome dogs, and a fenced, artificial-turf 'dog farm & run' lets dogs join the vegetable harvesting off-leash. Guests can pick from over 30 kinds of organically grown vegetables, then sit down to a BBQ of Yamanashi Duroc pork steak, skewered spring-water trout and just-harvested vegetables; a private hinoki open-air bath and a self-loyly sauna are bookable by time slot (free at night), and evenings gather around a stone-lined underground fire pit beneath the starry sky. A cafe-bar in the center building serves espresso, craft beer and Yamanashi wine. The site is about 10 minutes by car from JR Kai-Oizumi Station (pickup available by advance request) or from the Nagasaka IC; check the official site for rates and availability.
