Ten domes in two styles, round dome tents and two see-through domes, look up at a sky full of stars from their private decks, with a dinner box and barbecue, a book cafe, a tent sauna and dog-friendly rooms.

A hilltop glamping site at 1,500 m elevation in Katashina, Gunma, at the gateway to Oze National Park and its vast mountain marshland. To keep the views open, the ten domes are set in a terraced layout in two styles: round dome tents and two see-through 360-degree domes, each with a private deck for barbecue and stargazing under a completely unobstructed sky. Dinner is a dinner box of local Oze and Katashina flavours plus a barbecue set of steak and sausages, with bagel sandwiches for breakfast, and there is a wood-panelled book cafe serving coffee brewed with Hotaka spring water and local craft beer. A tent sauna and craft experiences are available, guests receive a free pass to the Hanasaki-no-Yu hot spring about 15 minutes away by car, and dogs are welcome. It is about 120 minutes from Tokyo via the Kan-Etsu Expressway; check the official site for rates and availability.
