Granfarm Fuji-Kawaguchiko is a five-dome glamping resort set on an unobstructed rise in Fuji-Kawaguchiko, Yamanashi, where every roughly 38 sqm dome tent commands a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. Each dome is a private unit with its own adjoining dining space, bathroom and toilet, and comes in three types: two Suite/Earth tents with a private barrel sauna and an outdoor bathtub, and three Standard tents. Meals are BBQ-style using Yamanashi produce; the bring-your-own-ingredients BBQ plan lets guests cook with the indoor kitchen or a BBQ grill, with grill, microwave, IH cooktop, toaster, tableware and seasonings provided free. Activities such as early-morning kayaking, smelt fishing and rental cycling round out the stay. It is about 20 minutes by car from the Kawaguchiko IC, or roughly 20 minutes by taxi from Kawaguchiko Station; check the official site for rates and availability.
