About 80 minutes from central Tokyo, a private glamping site of just four Mount Fuji-view domes. Each 7-meter dome is air-conditioned, with its own dining space, bathroom and toilet plus an all-weather BBQ space, and Fuji Five Lakes activities such as kayaking and pond smelt fishing are on offer.

About 80 minutes from central Tokyo, this small-luxury glamping site faces Lake Kawaguchi in Fujikawaguchiko and takes only four groups a day. All four units are private-use dome tents with a view of Mount Fuji; the 7-meter domes are air-conditioned for year-round comfort. Each dome has an adjoining building with its own dining space, bathroom and toilet, so beginners, women and families can stay with ease, plus an all-weather private BBQ space with a large gas grill. You can bring your own local ingredients or choose a set BBQ plan of regional beef or seafood, and enjoy Fuji Five Lakes activities such as early-morning kayaking, pond smelt fishing and rental cycling through a partner operator. It is about 10 minutes from the Kawaguchiko IC, or a 10-minute taxi ride from Kawaguchiko Station, with a reservation-only shuttle.
