GV Nasu Rindoko is a glamping site on the shore of Lake Rindo, the only lake in the Nasu Highland, set within the Rindo-ko Family Farm, a combined ranch and theme park in Nasu, Tochigi, with views of the Nasu mountains, the lake and starry skies. Rooms come in distinctive types (a Kids Suite with an open-air bath-cum-pool, a Water Glamping unit floating on the lake, an Alpaca Glamping room and a Lake View room), with shared toilets and shower rooms. Dinner is a BBQ set of pork, beef and vegetables (with an optional seafood upgrade), and breakfast is a farm morning set of Rindo dairy and Tochigi produce that guests grill themselves, with a butter-making experience too. Staying guests get free entry to the Rindo-ko Family Farm and Nasu Highland Park and can enjoy farm experiences such as alpaca walks and milking; dogs are welcome as an option. It is about 10 minutes by car from the Nasu IC, or 40 minutes from Nasu-shiobara Station with a weekend shuttle; check the official site for rates and availability.
