A 'secret base you can stay in,' tucked into a quiet residential area of Matsumoto, Nagano. It has eight private-rental units in five types (a single-storey villa with a big slide and tree house, a hideout with a climbing wall, a Meiji-era storehouse, an imported American trailer, and a projector-equipped log house), plus a rideable mini railway and covered BBQ spaces.

L-Base is a 'secret base you can stay in' set within Fuchian-mura, a quiet residential area about 5 km south of Matsumoto Station. It offers eight whole-unit rentals in five playful types: the single-storey Holiday Villa (up to 8 guests) with a large slide and tree house, the Secret Base and Dog Friendly rooms with a climbing wall and hammock (up to 4), the two-storey Kura renovated from a Meiji-era storehouse (up to 6), an imported American Caravan trailer (up to 4), and a cosy Log House with a projector for two. Every unit except the log house has a kitchen for longer stays, and there are covered BBQ spaces, a free rideable mini railway for guests, Wi-Fi, free parking and an EV charger. Pets are welcome only in the Dog Friendly room (small dogs under 10 kg); check-in is 15:00-19:00 and check-out 10:00.
