This glamping site is part of MOUNTQ, an adventure resort that opened in 2023 in Gobo, Wakayama. Accommodation comes in many types: three lakeside Lake View Suites, each with a private jacuzzi; three Mountain View Suites that share a shower and kitchen; a dog-friendly Dog Suite; the climate-controlled Onion Tents; and a Boat House with its own sauna, jacuzzi, pool and dog run. On the grounds are a scenic open-air bath and sauna, a summer-only pool and a large bath, plus a full day's worth of activities: four-wheel buggies, canoeing, an animal-petting corner, amago fishing, pizza-making and campfires. Meals are hands-free BBQ on the deck by the Mori-no-Cafe, with standard and premium courses, free-flow drinks and a winter oyster hut, and glamping can be booked room-only or with two meals; the Boat House even offers a stay-with-an-owl plan.
