A one-group-per-day whole-house villa that opened in January 2026 in quiet Sengokuhara, Hakone, Kanagawa. The layout is three bedrooms plus living space: two Western rooms and one tatami room. It sleeps twelve, with eight recommended.
The garden holds a sauna and a fire space. The sauna is the egg-shaped model BURROW developed ahead of the field, fitted with a HUUM electric stove. Step out of the door and the cold bath and cooling area are right there, so the sequence deepens without effort. The wide garden also has a BBQ space and a fire area; simply sitting around flame turns the end of the day into shared time.
Indoors there is a large built-in kitchen table. With a four-burner hob and ample working space, the cook is not separated from everyone else, and the cooking becomes part of the stay.
The two Western rooms serve as bedrooms, and futons are laid in the tatami room. Details like side-by-side washbasins keep a large party comfortable. There is one bathroom. There is no hot spring. Wi-Fi and parking for two cars are provided, and pets are not accepted.
Gotemba IC is about 20 minutes away and Hakone-Yumoto Station about 30 minutes by taxi.You can arrive from 15:00 and stay until 11:00 the next morning. Rates start at 72,000 yen per night.
