Ocean Bridge Awaji stands at Iwaya in Awaji City, Hyogo, facing the full sweep of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and the Seto Inland Sea. Two groups a day, sleeping eight.
It has its own pool, a jacuzzi and a barrel sauna. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi share a single space, so after the sauna you cool off outside or in the water. The barrel sauna is built in natural wood, and the scent stays in the room.
The bath is fed with water from Iwaya Onsen, which is rich in radon.
Every room has an ocean view. The sky and the sea change through the day, and after dark the bridge is lit. From check-in to check-out, the layout keeps other people out of it.
