Villa Virgin Valley Awaji stands in Kusumoto, Awaji City, Hyogo, inside the operator's own olive grove of 3,500 trees, among the largest in the Kansai region. It calls itself an inn of fine food and olives.
There are four units: villa I frantoio, villa II leccino, villa III pendolino and villa IV taggiasca, each named after an olive cultivar. Villas III and IV are dog-friendly and come with amenities for your dog.
Every villa has a private pool and its own sauna, built so you can pour loyly. The plots, private gardens included, are spaced generously enough that you never register the villa next door.
The food is overseen by chef Karato, who held a Michelin star for twelve consecutive years. Each villa is also set up for a particular experience built around the grove's olives.
The address is shared with Olive GLAMP Awaji Island Virgin Valley. Central Kobe is about 40 minutes away, central Osaka about 70. A transfer runs to Oiso Port and the Awaji IC bus stop, with pickups between 13:00 and 14:00, arranged by contacting the villa directly.
