Two private villas on high ground overlooking the sea, five minutes from the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge at Iwaya in Awaji City, Hyogo. Within an hour of the main cities of Kansai, this is the gateway to the resort island closest to Honshu.
Each villa's private garden holds a pool, its own barrel sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi. The pool has underwater lighting, which turns it atmospheric after dark. It is built for children and adults alike, and is heated from May through October. The sequence runs from the poolside barrel sauna to the jacuzzi to settle. The rooms look out on the ocean.
The dining space is all-weather, so BBQ works even in bad conditions. You can use the dedicated grill or bring your own ingredients. For dinner there is a premium BBQ set built on thick-cut wagyu served a little at a time, and a plan with proper Satsuma jidori chicken; arranging a chef can also be discussed.
There is a full kitchen, parking and EV charging. Awaji IC is about a minute away by car, and Shin-Kobe about 30 minutes.
