A whole-house private villa at Hirano in Yamanakako Village, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi, opened in July 2025 at the foot of Mount Fuji. Every unit exceeds 100 square metres, well away from any noise.
Hot-spring water is piped into the rooms. It has a soft feel and holds its warmth, and you soak while looking at the view or, at night, a full sky of stars. The private pool includes a shallow section, so it works with small children. The private sauna sits next to the room's hot-spring area, where a cold bath is also provided.
Beyond the fire pit there are grilling, pizza and smoking experiences. Wi-Fi and free parking are included.
Yamanakako IC on the Higashi-Fujigoko road is about 15 minutes away. Coming by highway bus from Shinjuku, get off at Hirano and walk about 15 minutes. Rates start around 45,000 yen per person on weekdays with dinner and breakfast.
