Seven glamping units in the Lake Yamanaka area of Yamanakako Village, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi, with Mount Fuji in view. Central Tokyo is about 90 minutes away.
What defines the place is that every unit has all four of a private pool, a hot-spring bath in the room, a private barrel sauna and a fire pit. It was the first in the Kanto region to do so, and you use them whenever and however you like. Each unit exceeds 500 square metres, among the largest in the area.
There are two room types. The villa type is the luxury option, a spacious two-bedroom suited to groups and larger parties. The tent type is the outdoor option, a seven-metre dome tent with air conditioning, so it stays comfortable whatever the season. Mount Fuji is visible from every unit.
Two of the types accept dogs. Every unit has Wi-Fi, and parking is available. Yamanakako IC on the Higashi-Fujigoko road is about ten minutes away toward the lake.
