How to choose
- A private beach and walking distance are different things. The former means seaside grounds used by the property; the latter means a public beach nearby. Choose the former for total privacy, the latter if you also want beach facilities (lifeguards, showers).
- Count walking minutes as a family round trip. An adult’s 5-minute walk doubles with floats and bags and children. The more often you return for naps and changes, the more those minutes matter.
- September is the smart season. Crowds thin, the water is still warm, and rentals are easier to book than in midsummer.
