A whole-house resort at Miyara in Ishigaki, Okinawa, about ten minutes from New Ishigaki Airport by car and one minute from the sea on foot. There are only two villas, Simple is and Gift, so unlike a larger property you never cross paths with another group.
Each has an eight-metre private pool. For the duration of the stay, the pool and the living room belong to your group alone. Each villa has three bedrooms.
Simple is takes up to 17 guests and Gift up to 20. Booked together they accommodate 37, among the largest capacities on Ishigaki, which covers everything from a family trip to a company outing. Gift has an ocean view.
Rates are per villa, so the cost per person falls as the party grows. A kitchen and BBQ options make longer stays workable. There is wireless LAN and parking for several cars at each villa.Check-in starts at 15:00, and the house is yours until 11:00 the next day.
