Inside there is a large dining table and an open kitchen, with a big sofa set facing the sea. Among the several bedrooms, the sea-facing one holds a queen bed; it is bright by day and quieter in feel at night. Another bedroom takes two double beds, so a large party has room. The bathroom and shower room are separate, giving two bathing spaces.
Upstairs is a viewing deck taking in Kabira Bay, Yonehara Beach and Mount Omoto. BBQ can happen either here or in the ground-floor garden beside the kitchen. A roof keeps direct sun off, which helps with small children. The grill, chairs and tables are provided, so all you bring is the food: local vegetables and fish, or Ishigaki beef.
There is an ocean-view pool, a hinoki sauna for three, a full IH kitchen, free Wi-Fi and parking for three cars. New Ishigaki Airport is about 26 minutes away by car. Rates start at 50,000 yen based on four guests.
