ZUSHI Funny house is a white three-storey building on Route 134 at Shinjuku in Zushi, Kanagawa, on grounds of about 200 square metres. It faces Zushi beach and connects to the sand through an underpass; at ten steps away, it is close to having a private beach.
The third-floor living room takes in the whole coast. Whether you are eating or sitting on the sofa, the sea is in view. The dining table seats five. There is a television, a Bluetooth speaker and Wi-Fi.
Service rooms occupy two floors. The ground floor has a mini kitchen with a single induction ring, a fridge and a sofa, with a BBQ grill available for a fee. The second floor has two chairs and a small table.
Four beds are split between the first and second floors: one queen, one double, one semi-double and one single. There is one bathroom, with a jacuzzi.
Central Tokyo is about an hour away and Zushi Station a ten-minute walk. Driving needs care: the ground-floor parking can only be entered from Route 134, not from the back streets, and there is space for one car.Arrival any time after 15:00, departure by 11:00. Capacity is seven, with children of ten and over counted as adults. Rates start at 50,000 yen a night.
