[2026 Edition] 10 Rental Villas & Vacation Homes for Large Groups in Chubu & Shinshu (8+ Guests)
A club training camp, a company team retreat, the once-a-year gathering of close friends. Once a group grows past eight people, an ordinary hotel splits you across separate rooms, and the trip you planned together turns fragmentary. This article introduces ten rental villas, vacation homes and glamping stays in the Chubu and Shinshu area where a group of eight or more can sleep under one roof.
Selection criteria
This article covers stays listed on TOMARIBI (泊まり火), properties whose official-site information has been checked by our editorial team, limited to private villas and glamping stays in the Chubu/Shinshu area with a capacity of eight or more, ranked using on-site popularity signals (wishlist saves and page views). Rankings are not influenced by advertising fees. Rates are approximate figures as of the time of our survey and vary by season and group size. Please confirm the latest information on each property’s official site.

Tips for choosing
- Don’t read capacity as “maximum.” Booking at the very top of the capacity range can leave sleeping space cramped. Check bedroom counts and bedding details on each property page and official site, and plan your headcount with room to spare.
- Divide by the number of people. Whole-house rentals are usually priced per building. Dividing by your group size reveals the per-person cost. Rates vary by season and headcount, so check the official site’s calendar.
- Decide the meal plan first. A villa with a kitchen for self-catering, or glamping with meal-inclusive plans: the choice completely changes how shopping and cooking duties are shared. The larger the group, the more the ease of hands-free BBQ or included meals pays off.
- Book through the official site. TOMARIBI provides links to each property’s official site and official booking page.
In closing
Stays for large groups are listed in plenty of areas beyond Chubu and Shinshu. Narrow down by capacity and facilities on the large-group collection page or via filter search, or use map search to choose while getting a feel for the distance from your meeting point.
