AWAUMI is a 16-unit resort near Lake Kawaguchi at the foot of Mt. Fuji, run by the historic Yamanashi winery SADOYA. Four stay styles surround a pool inspired by the lake: 115-sqm suite villas for up to five guests, two dog villas with 80-sqm private dog runs, 7-m dome tents for up to six, and private cabins with outdoor tent saunas. Every unit has its own bath fed by the Fuji-Kawaguchiko hot spring and a private Finnish-style sauna, usable 24 hours. Guests can enjoy BBQ, a fire pit, and free-flow Koshu wine at the lounge.
