LE NIDO is a private glamping site near Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi, with only three units scattered through the forest so each feels like it has Mt. Fuji to itself. There are two room types, Private View Terrace and the elevated Premium View Terrace, both 8-metre dome tents with a raised tatami area, four futon sets (extra mattresses for five or more, up to six guests), and a hot shower, toilet and air conditioning, plus a make-up area with Italian-made amenities. Each tent has a covered, all-weather dining terrace for BBQ, and boardgames and a projector for movie nights indoors. The two-meals plan serves a domestic-beef BBQ set with vegetables, with optional wagyu short rib, Koshu jidori chicken, abalone and lobster, and breakfast where you make your own sandwiches with Yamanakako ham, a trophy winner at the SUFFA meat contest.
