Forest Side Yamanakako is a private glamping retreat in Yamanakako village, Yamanashi, reserved for just one group per day. Two 38-sqm air-conditioned dome tents sleep up to 10 guests (or up to 20 with the tent-pitching stay-only plan), and the whole site (a Finnish barrel sauna with a 70-cm plunge pool, a private garden with fire pits, log splitting, a wood-fired pizza oven and a smoker) is yours alone. The BBQ dinner features Koshu beef sirloin, river fish raised in Oshino spring water and Shingen chicken ahijo, with a pulled-pork and Fuji-no-suke salmon casse-croute breakfast, or choose the self-catering plan and cook freely with the Dutch oven and IH kitchen. Kayaking (Apr-Nov) and SUP (Jun-Sep) are offered on checkout mornings.
