Glamping

This five-unit glamping site sits on Miharashi Hill, about eight minutes' walk from Kawaguchiko Station in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi. Its draw is a 180-degree panorama that takes in Mount Fuji to both of its lower slopes, with the town spread out below. Rooms are the one-group-a-day Imperial Dome (up to four guests), a 6 m dome with its own observation deck and BBQ space, and four standalone Glamping Cabins (one or two guests) with a private kitchen and shower, Serta mattresses and full climate control for comfort in summer and winter alike. On the observation deck you can grill your own BBQ while the view of Mt. Fuji shifts from dusk to night; local beef and Fuji Five Lakes vegetables can be bought at nearby supermarkets and roadside stations. Evenings bring a campfire under a starry sky above and the town lights below, and each unit has Wi-Fi and a microwave.
