A whole-house villa set quietly in the forest at Nagakura in Karuizawa, Nagano. It has three bedrooms plus living space, sleeps twelve, and six is the recommended number.
Inside, an atrium living room anchors the plan, with the kitchen opening onto it, so cooking and conversation happen together. Three bedrooms mean everyone can keep their own hours.
The grounds hold COCO VILLA's own 3D-printed sauna. Its dedicated space includes a cold bath and a cooling area, so you settle gently with the warmth of the trees around you.
The wooden deck works for BBQ or coffee. The grill and equipment are all provided and run on electricity, which keeps them simple to handle. The kitchen has an IH hob with BALMUDA appliances, and there is a pellet stove, Wi-Fi and parking for three cars. There is one bathroom. The villa cannot accommodate pets.
Naka-Karuizawa Station is about five minutes away by car and Karuizawa Station about ten by taxi. Central Karuizawa and the popular spots are ten to fifteen minutes by car. Central Tokyo is two and a half hours away.The stay runs from 15:00 to 11:00 the next day. Rates start at 109,000 yen per night.
