A one-group-per-day private villa on wooded high ground in northern Awaji Island, Awaji City, Hyogo, opened in April 2023. It sleeps twelve across three bedrooms.
An outdoor pool opens directly off the living room. What the water reflects changes with the season and the hour. It is available from 1 June to 30 September, subject to weather.
There are several ways to eat. You can cook in the indoor kitchen, or use the optional charcoal grill BBQ set. Awaji food can be arranged, and a private chef introduced. Breakfast comes free, built on fresh produce from the island.
The architecture, the interiors and the artworks placed throughout have all been considered, down to a mug with your name on it. There is a full kitchen, a washer-dryer and a projector, with parking for about seven cars. Kobe is about an hour away by car.
