Fifteen resort rental villas along the coast at Minato in Minami-Awaji, Hyogo. There are four room types and all of them face the ocean, giving you a private panorama of blue sea and sky.
Each villa has an open-air bath on its terrace, added in December 2023 and filled with Craft Onsen, a concentrated natural hot-spring water. It is not a free-flowing spring; the water is drained, the bath cleaned and refilled daily. Because it sits on your own terrace, you can use it whenever you like without minding anyone.
Some villas accept dogs and other pets. There is also a counter dining plan seating seven, built on Awaji Island produce, and a beachside garden that opened in July 2026.
Osaka is about an hour and a half away by car. Buses run from Tokushima Airport, with a free transfer to the bus stop. The photographs here were taken by our editorial team during an actual stay in one of the open-air bath villas in October 2025.
