The large living-room window is the point of the place. Through it the lake opens up, with the pirate ships crossing the water, the torii of Hakone Shrine standing in the lake, and Mount Fuji in the distance, all within a single view. The emblems of Hakone gather in one frame.
The bath is hinoki, using semi-natural spring water. There is a sauna and a jacuzzi as well, so you can move between water and heat. BBQ takes place on the wooden deck. Free Wi-Fi is available.
The villa stands lakeside in Hakone-machi Hakone, reached from the Hakone-en or Moto-Hakone side. Bookings are taken through Rakuten Travel and other sites.
