Two 200 sqm villas that opened in Gora, Hakone, in 2023. A hinoki semi-open-air bath runs free-flowing water from Owakudani, there is a wood stove, and SOLIS adds a sauna. Inside are an 85-inch screen and an eight-seat oak dining table.
Whole-house villas in Gora, Hakone, Kanagawa, opened in June 2023. There are two, SOLIS and LUNA, each 200 square metres, or about 350 including the terrace.
The bath is a hinoki semi-open-air one running free-flowing water from the Owakudani source. There is a wood stove, and a foot bath in the garden. SOLIS gained a sauna in 2024.
Each villa has two bedrooms, and the tatami room can serve as another. An 85-inch screen on the wall is there for films, though the quiet of the woods also suits a book. An eight-seat oak dining table anchors the room and draws people around it. There is a kitchen, and BBQ is possible in the garden.
Kami-Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan cable car is about three minutes on foot, and Gora Station about five minutes by car. Odawara IC on the Seisho bypass is about 35 minutes away. Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 11:00.
