Whole-house villas that opened in February 2023 in the Nasu highlands, Nasu Town, Tochigi, run by Rakuten STAY.
Rooms come in house and apartment formats. Both have a private sauna and an artificial hot-spring bath available 24 hours, so time is not a constraint. There is a terrace suited to BBQ, a play room, a work desk and a day bed, which lets play and work sit inside the same stay. Some units also have a massage chair or a beer server.
Pets can come along. JR Nasushiobara Station is about 30 minutes away by car, and central Tokyo about two and a half hours. The property has no site of its own, so booking runs through Rakuten Travel and other reservation sites. Rates start at 37,000 yen per night.
