Village Nasu Kogen is a set of holiday houses in a resort district at Takaku-hei in Nasu Town, Tochigi. All of them are detached, in a range of architectural styles, so nobody is on the other side of a wall.
Sizes run from four guests to ten, with ten available only in certain grades. Types include log houses and the Excellent, Deluxe and Moderate villas, chosen to match the size of your party. Some houses have a hot-spring bath.
The kitchens come with cookware plus detergent, sponges, cloths, cling film, toilet paper and bin bags, so you can cook as you would at home. Ingredients and seasonings are not provided; you buy them at B's Mart, attached to the reception centre, which also stocks groceries, sundries, pet supplies, and local Nasu sake and souvenirs.
There is a Nasu Yasumi plan offering up to 24 hours in the house, limited to ten houses a day, with check-in at noon and check-out at noon the next day. A 48-hour plan is available for two nights, so checking in late on a Friday gives you the whole weekend.
Pets may stay. There is Wi-Fi and parking. You can fish nearby and take your catch back to cook.
From stays on 1 October 2026, Nasu Town's accommodation tax applies separately under local ordinance: 100 yen per adult per night where the room rate is under 10,000 yen. Rates start at 28,000 yen a night.
